Hin Kong shares a bay with Wok Tum. They are named separately because sometimes a small river cuts the long beach in two. Hin Kong is a very quiet and secluded area. Like other beaches in the south west swimming is only possible during the high tidal months from November to April. There are mangroves along the beach and a wealth of shells and dead coral. Don't remove them from the beach.

Laem Hin Kong is easy to reach. It is just a short bike ride from Thongsala. Much of the accommodation in Hin Kong is for long termers but there are a few bungalow operations scattered along the beach.
