The beach at Chaloklum is about 2.5kms long. The fishing village is in the center of the beach. Chaloklum combines the charm of original Koh Phangan architecture and industry with a small boutique vibe backpacker village. Resorts, bars, restaurants and small hotels rub shoulders with fishermen, nets and their catch. In some ways Chaloklum is the Bophut of Koh Phangan. Chaloklum is on a good road and has a handy 7-11 store. It is also the transit point for Bottle Beach and Haad Khom.
