Bottle Beach was once the most inaccesible beach on Koh Phangan. The only way to Bottle Beach used to be via a boat from either Thong Nai Pan or Chaloklum. Nowadays, Bottle Beach is still hard to get to, but there is a steep road linking Bottle Beach with Thong Nai Pan.

Bottle Beach is famous for its beautiful beach and lush mountain scenery. Swimming is good all year round. There is also an excellent trek from Bottle Beach through the jungle and out onto a big rock that overlooks the entire bay. At one time there was only basic bamboo thatch bungalows with communal showers on Bottle Beach. Now the choice of accommodation is much better.

There four major accommodation providers on Bottle Beach but only one has joined the r24.org reservation system. If you want to reserve a room at Bottle Beach One, Two or Four you will need to contact them directly. This method of reservation and payment is less secure than using r24.org booking technology. For the record, Haad Kuad Resort used to be 'Bottle Beach 3'.
